Polly Scallorn Community TrusteeBill StotesberyEssential Class of 1980 Bill is CEO and General Manager of KLRU-TV, Central Texas' PBS station. Before joining KLRU, he enjoyed a 30-year career in public affairs and communications. Bill received a master’s degree from the LBJ School of Public Affairs at The University of Texas at Austin in 1977. He’s a 1980 Essential Class graduate and former board chair of Leadership Austin, and currently serves on the board of the Greater Austin Chamber of Commerce. |

Ascendant AwardGregory HarringtonEssential Class of 2006 Gregory is a Technical Sales Representative at Dell, Inc. He earned his BS in Computer Science at Jackson State University. He is the Founder/Commissioner of the Back to School Parade, President of the Austin Alumni Chapter of the National Society of Black Engineers, President of the Black Professional Alliance, and past chapter Treasurer of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. Greg is a graduate of the 2006 Leadership Austin Essential Class. |
