Bill Stotesbery

Essential Class of 1980

Bill is CEO and General Manager of KLRU-TV, Central Texas' PBS station. Before joining KLRU, he enjoyed a 30-year career in public affairs and communications. Bill received a master’s degree from the LBJ School of Public Affairs at The University of Texas at Austin in 1977. He’s a 1980 Essential Class graduate and former board chair of Leadership Austin, and currently serves on the board of the Greater Austin Chamber of Commerce.

Martha Smiley


Martha is an attorney with Enoch Kever PLLC. She was a founding member of Grande Communications, Inc. She is a graduate of Baylor University and received her law degree from the University of Texas. Martha was vice chair of the UT Board of Regents and has served on numerous boards, including Leadership Austin, the Austin Community Foundation, and the Austin Area Research Organization.

Gregory Harrington

Essential Class of 2006

Gregory is a Technical Sales Representative at Dell, Inc. He earned his BS in Computer Science at Jackson State University. He is the Founder/Commissioner of the Back to School Parade, President of the Austin Alumni Chapter of the National Society of Black Engineers, President of the Black Professional Alliance, and past chapter Treasurer of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. Greg is a graduate of the 2006 Leadership Austin Essential Class.
